It’s been awhile since the last time I wrote a post on my blog but today I want to introduce you my latest project Bittie.me and how you can use Bittie.me to take your referral links or any link to that next level and have way better conversions either if you are looking for referrals, selling something or promoting your own personal sites.


I’m going to concentrate more on how to use it if you’re looking for referrals since this is a freebie trading blog but keep in mind that this has so many functions that I can’t go through everything on this post. So with that said let’s get started, Bittie.me is a link shortener but with a twist that will take your referral link to the next level because when someone clicks on your referral link you can add an overlay, it can be a video, a message, a form, an image, it can be pretty much whatever you want your referral to see BEFORE they go to the site. 

Let me show you a couple of ideas just so you can have a better idea of what you can do with this:

Idea#1 Lets say you when someone clicks on your referral link you want to show a video showing your new referral how to correctly register on a freebie site, you can now do both with a bittie.me link. See the example: gifts.innovusnet.com?refBy=4072 

Idea #2 Lets say you just want to show your contact information so your new referral can get in touch with you in case they run into any problems or have any questions, you can do that also. See the example: Example#2 

Those are just a couple of ideas, there are so many ways you can use Bittie.me to take your referral link or affiliate link to that next level that i can’t cover everything like I said before on this post but if you have an open mind I know you can also benefit from this site like I have and the best part is that you can use the services completely FREE. As a registered member which is also FREE you are able to Edit your links, Keep track of how many hits you are getting, and delete them if necessary. 200 Successful Freebie Trading Trades!!

I just noticed that I haven’t written a new post since March on this blog… Is not that I’m not doing freebie trading anymore, is just that I have been busy with my other sites and other ventures but today I’m posting to celebrate my 200 successful trades as a freebie trader. 200!!!! Hell yeah!! lol. It has been 2 years since I first started trading and last night I just got my 200 trade feedback, the best part of this accomplishment for me is that in my 2 years of trading I haven’t received a negative feedback not even a neutral one, I want to thank all the traders that have traded with me, I really appreciate you guys for choosing me over other good traders.

A lot of new traders get lost with all the terms or lingo we used on the freebie trading industry, so I decided to share most of the terms that are used on the forums, so you guys get a better idea of their meanings.

So lets get started:

• Newbie, Noob, Rookie- Term used for the new traders coming into the freebie trading industry for the 1st time, Rookies.

• Green or Going Green- is used when a trader completes all the requirements and receives credit for it at the IFW/Freebie site. They use green, because the status on the freebie site will turn green.

• Yellow- is when a referral has succesfully signed up under your referral link but hasn’t completed an offer or received credit for an offer.

• Red or On Hold- a referral that has successfully signed up under your referral link but has been disqualified by the IFW/Freebie site for violating TOS, committed fraud or provided false information.

• MCR- stands for missing credit request, MCR’s are submitted to the IFW/Freebie sites when your offer doesn’t credit. Some sites have a waiting period before submitting an MCR others don’t.

• PM- stands for Private Message. On the forums you can communicate with other traders through PM or Private Messages.

• Scammer- dishonest trader.

• Offer(s)- advertising options you must complete on a IFW/Freebie site in order to complete your requirements and go Green.

• IFW- Incentivized freebie site. Websites that giveaway cash and prizes to those who meet the site requirements.

• PP or PPD- stands for Project Payday. PPD provides new traders with the training to start on the freebie industry for a fee or completing an offer(s). Most of the Vet traders have their own training sites, providing the same or better information for free. Just like this blog

• Free Green- free greens are given away by freebie networks do to a special promotion they might be running that month. What it means is that you are granted the Green so you don’t have to complete offers, you just refer people to the site.

• Forever Green- when a IFW/Freebie site is forever green/repeatable it means that you will only complete the requirements once and you can send unlimited referrals to that site to get your prize.

• DIY site- Do it Yourself sites don’t require you to get any referrals, you just sign up and complete the offers to get your prize.

• Offer Weight- Offers are assigned a weight or an amount of credit that the offer is worth. For example if an IFW/Freebie site requirements is 1 credit, you must complete  2 separate offers weighted at 1/2 credit to complete the requirements, or 3 separate offers weighted at 1/3 credit and so on.

• Ref- is short for referral. Is when someone signs up through your referral link provided to you by the IFW/Freebie site and completes all the requirements and goes green.

• A4F- stands for the Anything4free forum.

• TFX- stands for The Freebie Exchange forum.

• JFW- stands for Jaymans Freebie World forum.

• Cali- stands for the Calistyle101 forum.

• TR- short for trader rating. Trader rating is like feedback, once the traders complete their trade they leave feedback or tR for each other.

• PTC- stands for Paid to Click.

• GPT- stands for Get paid to. This type of freebie site pays users for performing a specific task or jobs.

• R4C- also known as Ref4Cash stands for Referral 4 Cash. You will see this section on the forums, this section is when you receive cash for completing sites for other traders.

• R4R- also known as Ref4Ref stands for Referral 4 Referral. Another section found in the forums, this section is when 2 traders exchange referral links and complete offers for each other.

• R4O- also known as Ref4Other stands for Referral 4 Other. Is another section in the forums, if you don’t have the cash to trade you can trade goods or services on this section.

• TM- stands for Trade Manager, the trade manager is were the trades are setup.

How to Submit a Missing Credit Request (MCR)

This is a quick tutorial on how to correctly submit a Missing Credit Request or MCR. For those that don’t know a missing credit request is when you complete an offer at a freebie site but for some reason you don’t get the credit for the offer you completed, so when you dont get credit you submit an MCR with the freebie site to see if they can manually credit you for the offer that is not crediting.

1st Part- The first thing the freebie site is going to ask you for when submitting an MCR is the email confirmation with the full headers, a lot of people think that they can just copy and paste the email and submit it, when they clearly ask for the “full headers” of the email. Here is a list of how to get the full headers in different email accounts:

* For Gmail:
1. Log in to Gmail.
2. Open the message you’d like to view headers for.
3. Click the down arrow next to Reply, at the top-right of the message pane.
4. Select Show original.
The full headers will appear in a new window.

* For AOL:
1. Log in to your AOL account.
2. Open the message you’d like to view headers for.
3. Click Details under the To field.
The full headers will appear above the message text.

* For Hotmail:
1. Log in to your Hotmail account.
2. Click Options next to the tabs.
3. Select Mail from the left-side menu.
4. Click Mail Display Settings.
5. Under Message Headers, select Advanced.
6. Click OK.
The full headers for all of your messages will now be available.
Return to your inbox, and open the message you’d like to view headers for.

*For Microsoft Internet Mail:
1. Log in to your Microsoft Internet Mail account.
2. Open the message you’d like to view headers for.
3. Click the File menu, and select Properties.
4. Select the Details tab to display the full headers.
The full headers will appear above the message text.

*For Yahoo! Mail:
1. Log in to your Yahoo! Mail account.
2. Open the message you’d like to view headers for.
3. Click Full Headers at the top of your message.
4. classic Yahoo its down at the lower right hand corner you will see full headers
The full headers will appear above the message text.

*For Outlook Express:
1. Open Outlook Express.
2. From your inbox, locate the message you’d like to view headers for.
3. Right-click the message, and select Properties.
4. Open the Details tab in the dialogue box.
The full headers will appear in the dialogue box.

*For Apple Mail:
1. Click on the email you would like full headers for
2. Go to View>Message>Long Headers

Once you find your email with the full headers all you need to do is copy the whole email with the full headers and go to the freebie site and get ready to submit the MCR.

2nd Part- How to submit an MCR (I’m going to use a ZipNadaZilch site for this example)

1. Log in to the freebie site

2. On the top tabs, there is one that reads “support”, you’re going to click there.

3. Once on the support page, you’re going to see a link that reads “Submit a Missing Credit Request” you’re going to click on that link.

4. Once on the Missing Credit request page, first thing you need to do is choose the offer you’re submitting the MCR for from the drop down where it reads “Offer Completed”, then you’re going to choose the date the offer was completed from the drop down that reads “Date Completed”, after that where it says “Confirmation Email” there is where you paste the email with the full headers and just click on the submit button and you’re done.

In the freebie industry we have different types of scammers that use different methods to deceive traders and take advantage of new traders and even established traders. This scams hurt the freebie industry and today I decided to write about all the different types of scams you may encountered and need to watch out for.

Freebie Trading Scams:

1. “Go Green” Scam- This scammer is looking for traders that pay on green or the same day, they look for the highest bidder, most of the time they come prepared and already know what site they can go green on fast (most of the time Trainn sites). These scammers will usually go RED by committing offer fraud or supplying false information.

How to Identify them:

• They will most likely contact you through an instant messenger like YIM or AIM

• They may ask you for money upfront

• Most likely their paypal account is not verified, but some of them are verified

• Impatient, they don’t want to chat or be bothered with questions, they just want to go green and get paid

• They may have different emails and usernames  to sign up on multiple sites using different emails.

2. “Non-Paying” Scammer- This scammer is out looking to “buy” your green, but have no intention on paying you for that green. They will create posts at the forums and even appear like they are helpful users in the forum.

How to Identify them:

• They will Spam any user through instant messengers, pm and emails

• They claim to help new traders but are very impatient with new members, most of the time they will tell you what offer to complete so you go green fast

• They will try to avoid setting up a trade on the forums, they prefer to just work through private messages or instant messengers

  3. “Underpaying” Scammer- This scam is directed mostly to new traders. The scam is to take advantage of new traders that don’t know how much they should get paid for a green.

  To avoid this scam just shop around, go through multiple threads and see what other traders are paying for the same site before agreeing to a trade.

  4. “Multi-Site Payout” Scammer- Another one directed to new members, scammer will post a thread offering a really high payout for doing multiple sites ($200, $300+). For example the scammer may offer $300 if you complete and go green on 5 sites, the scammer will ONLY pay if you go green on all 5 sites, If you as a trader go green on only 3 and can’t complete the other 2 sites, the scammer will make you believe that you didn’t complete the trade so you won’t get paid anything, not even for 3 sites you already completed.

  Legitimate traders may post a total payout for all of their sites but will never required you to complete all of them. You SHOULD get paid for every site you complete and go green on, no questions asked.

  5. “Referral 4 Referral” Scammer- Sadly but True, this scam happens when a user, typically with an established Trade Rating seeks out a user with a lower Trade Rating to set up a Referral 4 Referral trade. Since traders with lower Trade Rating always go first in a trade, once they go green on the site and is time for the higher Trade Rating trader to green the site, the higher TR trader comes back with an excuse like ” I can’t complete the site because there are no offers for me to complete” So then the higher Trade Rating trader will offer to pay the average payout on the green they received.

  An easy way to avoid this scam is when you setup the trade on the “Notes, or Details Section” of the trade, put as a requirement that if either trader can’t complete the site the other trader will get paid 100% of the payout on the site they went green on. Believe me this will stop the high TR traders from taking advantage of you.

Freebie Trading Experience

As a student, I always tried to conserve what little I had and make the most of it.  I mean let’s face it…..how many different ways DO YOU know how to make ramen noodles?  If there was such a thing as IRON CHEF Ramen…..I would be a major contender!  But seriously…….we as students a lot of the time know how to Macgyver our way through school and adapt to hard times….i.e., like when our pockets are empty and we don’t want to call Mom and Dad.

That was my situation a couple of years ago.  I was sitting in a computer lab while all of my other friends were tap, tapping away on their laptops in the comfort of their own bed in their own room.  It was then and there that I decided to find a way to earn some extra money and get my own personal laptop.  With my class load I found it extremely DIFFICULT working a full time job and taking a full course load.

One day in the cafeteria, a friend of mine (who dressed like a hobo but was a next generation EINSTEIN) starting tapping away on his laptop. This was getting ridiculous.  I mean this guy had less of a budget than me.  Ofcourse I thought it was stolen (sorry friend) but to my surprise he said he got it FREE.  WTF???!?!?!??!……. I then thought, “Not only is this laptop stolen but my friend is now into drugs”.

Turns out he had gotten a FREE and EXPENSIVE LAPTOP just for trying out Netflix and renting movies.  On top of that, his room was decked out with all the latest entertainment gadgets and gizmos which he also got for FREE.  Well after that I immediately jumped on the bandwagon and sure enough in less than a month, I was tip, tapping on my own FREE laptop.  A few months later my room was also loaded with a MANCAVE DREAM (PS3, XBOX 360, Wii, and a HDTV) and it was ALL FREE.  I even got a little extra pocket money which helped out during the school year.  Needless to say, the phone calls to the parents stopped from that point on.

Now I am a little older and a student in medical school.  Rather than carrying tons of books and notes, I have an IPAD that I got for FREE and to me you can’t beat  FREE…FREE….FREE.

Now the INSIDE SCOOP:  I’m going to tell you exactly HOW YOU CAN GET AN IPAD FOR YOURSELF!

1.) Sign up with an e-mail address (your own or create a new one) at the above link.  Fill in the appropriate address information where you want your Ipad to be shipped.

2.) Try a sponsored offer, i.e. Netflix, emusic, etc.  (Advice: Try a CreditReport.com because they credit (GREEN) instantly.)

3.) Finally, get your family members or friends to do the same thing.  (Easiest way:  I usually tell them that either the holidays or my birthday is coming up and this is all you want.  You’d be surprised how often this works.)

4.) That’s it.  Kick back and wait for your electronic item or cash equivalent in the mail.

So I decided to write reviews about the websites I personally use on my freebie trading ventures. All my reviews are from my personal experience, if you have any comments, agree or disagree with me you’re welcome to use the comment section.

Todays review will be about Transcendent Innovations Network or TRAINN, Trainn is considered to be the best on the freebie industry, they have been in business since 2005 and shipped thousands of prizes like Laptops, PS3, Xbox360, Video games, Ipods, Ipads, etc. The big difference about this network is that it only takes 1 offer to green but they’re not a 1 referral cash out site like the other sites previously reviewed in my blog. On this network it can take from 7-12 referrals depending on the prize before you’re able to cash out but the reward is worth it believe me. For example that picture above is a Dell mini laptop I received from them, took me 7 referrals to get it but it was worth it. If you look on my proof pictures located on the bottom of this blog all the payouts that range from $350+ are from Trainn.

With that in mind I will start my review on the Transcendent Innovations network. From 1-5, 1 been the lowest rating and 5 been the highest rating they can get.

1. Crediting ( the time it takes for an offer to credit on their sites )- Crediting time in the Trainn network is excellent, never had any problems with offers crediting. Crediting (5)

2. Offers ( amount of offers provided so you can complete their sites )- Great Offer selection, they have 2 levels of offers, Level A & Level B, On the Level A section you only need to complete 1 offer to green on Level B you need to complete enough offers to reach 50 points or 2-3 offers. Offers (5)

3. Customer Service- Customer service is good, but it does take them 48 hours to respond to your support tickets, and they don’t provide customer service through messengers like other networks. Customer Service (3)

4. Shipping ( time it takes from the time you submit your order to actually getting the prize )- It takes Trainn 4 days to go through all the referrals in your account before they approve your prize for shipping, after the approval time you if you selected a Paypal payment as a prize you will get it on Wednesday or Saturday depending on the date you got approved. For example if you sent your account for approval on Sunday, you will get approved on Thursday and receive the payment on Saturday. Is a long process compared to other networks but is to avoid scammers. Shipping (3).

5. Promotions- (type of promos this network runs if any)- I haven’t seen any promotions from Trainn, I’m guessing they don’t need to throw promos since they have been in the game for so long. Promotions (1)

The Transcendent Innovations Network is a great network, it’s easy to green and the payouts are worth it, but because they’re so easy to green is bound to attract more scammers trying to complete the sites for you.  If you’re careful and have patience a trainn site is worth checking out. Today I will be reviewing the RewardMouse.com network. The RewardMouse network was started back in October of 2009 by MissEdie a well known trader on the freebie trading industry. She started the network off with just 1 site and has grown since then and now the network consists of 6 sites. This network was voted “The Best New Site of 2009″ by the JFW Forum.

With that said I will start my review on the RewardMouse network. From 1-5, 1 been the lowest rating and 5 been the highest rating they can get.

1. Crediting ( the time it takes for an offer to credit on their sites )- Crediting time on the rewardmouse network is excellent, In crediting they get a (5) with out any doubts in my mind.

2. Offers ( amount of offers provided so you can complete their sites )- Offer selection is great, in all the sites you can find anywhere from 100 offers to 200+ offers making it easier for the user to complete the sites. In offer selection they also get a (5) from me.

3. Customer Service- If I’m not wrong about this I believe Missedie runs all the sites and support by herself and still provide excellent customer support, from answering support tickets in 24hrs or less to letting you know what’s going on in your account through AIM, Great customer support!! They get a (5) for the awesome support she provides by herself.

4. Shipping ( time it takes from the time you submit your order to actually getting the prize )- Orders are approved the same day and shipped the next day so in 24 hrs you get your payment. I personally never had to wait more than 24hrs for a payment so they get a (5) from me.

5. Promotions- (type of promos this network runs if any)- RewardMouse runs some great promos, from referral races, 10% Bonuses on cash outs to bonuses for just posting a Proof picture in the forums. Great promos every month!
